SM Renergy Private Limited, a solar EPC company, has bagged two honours at the Andhra Pradesh Energy Expo 2026, organised by Solar Quarter which was held in Viskahapatnam.
The company was declared the winner of the Project of the Year – C&I Category, for its recently completed 882kW solar power project at Inorbit Mall in the city.
The recognition comes as another milestone in the association between SM Renergy and Inorbit Mall, following their earlier collaboration, and acknowledges the successful execution of the commercial solar project.
The company also received an award at the SuryaGhar Shakti Awards 2026 event for its contribution to the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar initiative and residential solarisation in the State. The company’s work in this segment began with the State government’s pilot initiative for solarisation of villages and development of Net Zero villages, with Nadimuru in Kuppam selected as one of the pilot locations.
