A 20-year-old youth was found hanging from a bridge, with his helmet on, in Satpuli of Pauri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand on Saturday (May 2, 2026). Before his alleged suicide, the victim posted a video on social media accusing local police of harassment after they seized his motorcycle.
The police identified the deceased as Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Retpur village, and informed his family. The incident came to light after a local resident alerted authorities through an emergency call. Officials learned that the man had recorded a video before the incident, alleging mistreatment by the police.
