In view of moderate to heavy rainfall forecast on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), the Cyberabad traffic police issued a public advisory requesting citizens to plan their travel with caution and avoid unnecessary movement, particularly during the evening and night hours.

To minimise disruptions and ensure the safety of commuters, the police have also recommended that companies operating within the commissiomerate consider allowing employees to work from home on July 22. The move aims to support both productivity and uninterrupted emergency response during inclement weather conditions.

The commissionerate, home to the city’s IT corridor, has witnessed severe traffic congestion and waterlogging on major roads and flyovers over the past week. An official said that the precautionary measure is being taken to safeguard lives and maintain operational efficiency in the face of potential flooding and waterlogging in several parts of the city.
