Pilla Hari Kamal Naidu (21) from the city won medals at the Asian Roller Skating Championship which concluded in South Korea on July 31.
He participated in four events, and won a gold medal in show group skating, a silver medal in quartet skating, and a bronze medal in solo dance skating, and another bronze medal in couple dance skating. He had also won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal at the 2023 Asian Championships in China.
Mr. Naidu, who returned to India on Friday, told the media that his goal is to win a gold medal in the India Asian Championship to be held in Visakhapatnam in 2027.
