Ramanathapuram District Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon along with MLA Katharbatcha Muthuramalingam here on Tuesday launched expansion of Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme at St. Joseph primary aided school.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s launched expansion of CM’s breakfast scheme in Chennai for students from classes I to V in all government-aided primary schools in urban areas.

With this expansion, 8,203 students of 53 government aided schools in urban limits would be benefitted.

In Sivaganga district, Minister for Co-operation K.R. Periyakaruppan along with District Collector K. Porkodi, launched the expansion to benefit 7,010 students of 57 government aided schools in the district.

The expansion would bring about 1,143 students from 47,691 government and government aided schools into the scheme’s fold.
