The body of an unidentified man, believed to be around 40 years old, was discovered on Saturday under a bridge near Chinnayyapalem village in Sabbavaram police station limits of Anakapalli district.
This marks the second such incident in the region within three days. On August 14, police had recovered the semi-decomposed body of a woman, estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, at Batajangalapalem village.
The identities of both victims remain unknown. Initial observations suggest that the man may have been murdered, though officials said a clear picture will emerge after further investigation.
A case has been registered, and police teams are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity as part of the probe.
