KALABURAGI
A 16-year-old boy died of electrocution after he came into contact with a live wire while climbing a tree in Nelogi village of Jewargi taluk of Kalaburagi district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Akash Bheemashankar Waddar.
Akash climbed the tamarind tree to pluck fruit and came into contact with the live wire that was passing perilously close through the branches. He died on the spot.
Nelogi Police have registered a case.
