TNSTC employees stage protest – The Hindu

Retired and in service employees of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation affiliated to the Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) on Monday staged a protest in Dindigul urging the government to fulfil their charter of demands.

The protesters urged the government to restore the old pension scheme and demanded an increased dearness allowance. They said that the pending pension benefits should be disbursed to the pensioners and also demanded that they should be covered under the health insurance scheme.
