Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra felicitated top-performing ticket checking staff of the Waltair Division for their outstanding contributions during the month of May -2025 at a programme held on Thursday, in the presence of senior divisional commercial manager K. Saandeep.
The ticket checking staff including the amenities, station staff, and squad staff, achieved exceptional results, through collection of fare and penalty to the tune of ₹2,41,20,627, marking a significant increase from ₹2,27,34,221 recorded in May 2024.
In recognition of their exceptional dedication to duty, the following staff were honoured: Y. Appala Raju, TTI/Vizianagaram detected 836 cases and collected ₹4,89,320 towards fare and penalty in 25 man-days. K. Srinivasa Rao, TTI/ Srikakulam Road detected 815 cases and collected ₹4,42,900 as fare and penalty in just 21 man days.
The DRM commended the staff for their dedication, diligence, and significant role in ensuring passenger compliance and revenue protection.
