Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari has said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu-led government has become the synonym of welfare and development in the State. Mr Naidu’s leadership has put the State in the Top-3 position in the country, she said.

Ms. Shabari on Monday (Septemberr 01) inaugurated free mineral water plants constructed with her MPLADS funds in Turpu, Paramata Pratakota village in Pagidyala mandal and in Kadumuru village of Midtur mandal and also disbursed pensions to the beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Shabari said the people of Hyderabad in Telangana State still recall the development of the city under the leadership of Mr Naidu. “I am fortunate to work under the leadership of Mr Naidu,” she said.

Ms. Shabari said people of Nandikotkur Assembly constituency witnessed development like laying of cement roads, water pipelines, overhead tanks, construction of checkdam and others during her father Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy’s tenure as an MLA during TDP government. “The Constituency did not witness any development during other party’s rule,” she alleged and added that development in villages has come to a standstill during the previous YSRCP regime.

The MP said Mr Naidu is putting all out efforts to complete the pending projects and is providing water to the farmers of the State. “Mr Naidu is pro-women and this is evident with the State government providing three free gas cylinders, ₹15,000 financial assistance under Thalliki Vandanam and free bus ride to women,” she said.

During her visit to Lakshmipuram village in Pagidyala mandal, village sarpanch Beda Budaga Jangam Sirigiri Sujatha and people of Beda Budaga Jangam community felicitated the MP for raising the issue of inclusion of the community in the ST list in Parliament. Ms. Sujatha said Mr. Naidu government had passed a resolution for inclusion of their caste in the ST category and Ms. Shabari has taken up the issue in Parliament.

On the occasion, the sarpanch had submitted a representation requesting for an electricity transformer, mineral water plant and other facilities in their village.
