To transform the younger generation into a knowledgeable society, the government had decided to distribute laptops to 20 lakh students, Mr. Stalin added.

Outlining the contributions of the founders of the college, Mr. Stalin said that while N.M. Khajamian Rowther donated 100 acres of land to provide education to the needy, M. Jamal Mohamed constructed buildings for the college. Their contributions would be remembered forever, he added.
