Container truck laden with glass sheets overturns near Manali

A container truck laden with glass materials overturned near Manali on Friday. No one was injured in the accident.

The container truck was driven by Nithish after loading glass sheets in a factory in Sriperumbudur and proceeding to Ennore port. It was rashly driven and other truck drivers on the road noticed and attempted to video-capture it, police said. Subsequently the vehicle overturned after hitting median at MFL junction. Immediately, the entire load of glass sheets fell on the road.

Traffic was affected on the arterial road. Traffic Police quickly reached the spot and cleared the road after removing the glass materials.
