Four sustain injuries in wild elephant attack in Kozhikode

Four persons, including three women, sustained injuries while trying to escape from a wild elephant attack at Choorani near Thottilpalam in Kozhikode on Saturday. Thottilpalam natives Santha, Sanika, Sheeja, and her son Ebin had a narrow escape. According to the police, Santha and Sanika were chased by the elephant while they were on their way to a nearby field with their cows. The other two were attacked while travelling on a motorcycle. Police said no one sustained serious injuries in the incident, which took place in the morning.
