The TIDEL Neo Park at Rakkiyapalayam in Tiruppur district that was inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin earlier this week is witnessing robust patronage from IT/ITES industries.

According to official sources, two companies have taken space at the 65,500 sq. ft. structure.

Developed under the visionary TIDEL Neo initiative, this state-of-the-art Mini IT Park envisages diversifying the city’s industrial strengths by introducing IT and startup ecosystem.

The two companies will have a headcount of 200 employees, it is learnt.

The facility located on 1.77 acres at Rakkiyapalayam village in Avinashi taluk is a lower ground plus ground plus seven-floor structure, with built-up space designed for IT/ITeS companies and new-age enterprises. The flexible warm shell office modules and shared amenities are designed for companies looking to grow in a business-ready environment.

The IT park, according to officials, is expected to generate employment for over 600 professionals.

The TIDEL Neo Parks came in as a solution in a situation where the interest of investors in SEZ IT parks promoted by ELCOT has come down due to the sunset clause and cumbersome procedures involving entry, operation and exit, say sources.
