The BJP has taken up a campaign titled ‘Dharma rakshanegagi dharma yuddha’under which its members are embarking upon a journey to Dharmasthala to offer moral support to the pilgrim centre.

While Bommanahalli MLA Satish Reddy began his journey to Dharmasthala on Saturday along with his supporters, Jayanagar MLA K. C. Ramamurthy is leaving for Dharmasthala on Monday morning along with his supporters who will follow him in about 400 cars, according to a release.

Meanwhile, a convention titled ‘Dharma Samrakshana Samavesha’ was held at the Freedom Park here on Sunday in which seers from various mutts and Hindu activists took part to express solidarity with the Dharmasthala’s administration.
