The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) will conduct a raw material exhibition, called Raw Mat 2025, here from September 11 to 13.
The fourth edition of the event to be held at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex will have over 70 stalls, said V. Saravanakumar, chairman of the event, and M. Karthikeyan, president of the association.
The participants are from five States and includes dealers and wholesalers. âThe engineering MSMEs in Coimbatore can know about the different kinds of raw materials that are available and the offerings of different companies,â said Mr. Karthikeyan.
The association conducted Raw Mat once in two years and is trying to make it an annual event from this year. âWe expect 8,000 to 10,000 visitors,â he added.
Though most of the raw material manufacturers have sub-dealers in Coimbatore, the event is an opportunity for the manufacturers and dealers to showcase their products to the MSMEs in Coimbatore, he said.
There will be seminars on the schemes of organisations such as NSIC and SIDBI, said Mr. Saravanakumar.
The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and visitors should register online by logging on to visitor.codissia.com
