Man wields knife at passers-by, shifted to care home

The Palarivattom police shifted a man to a care facility on Sunday (September 7) after he allegedly caused a scare by wielding a knife at passers-by. The police were alerted by the public after the man, a migrant worker, created a ruckus at Palarivattom by wielding a knife at two women and hitting a man who tried to stop him from injuring others. “The man was shifted to a private care facility at Koonammavu, and his identity was yet to be verified,” a police officer said.
